Approved a call from the Clover Church for Mr. Simons as associate for youth and family. He will be ordained and installed at the Clover Church at a called meeting of Presbytery on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 5 p.m.
Examined David Mackey Smith and received him as a licentiate from First Presbytery by transfer effective June 5, 2012.
Approved a call from the Oak Ridge Church for Mr. Smith to serve as pastor. He will be ordained and installed at a date to be set.
Examined and received Chester H. Lanious from the Orthodox Presbyterian Church effective June 5, 2012. He is a retired military chaplain living in Columbia, SC.
Approved the transfer to First Presbytery for Philip McCoy to become pastor at First Statesville. His transfer will be effective June 30, 2012.
Approved the transfer to First Presbytery for Matthew Mantooth to become associate minister at Back Creek. His transfer will be effective July 15, 2012.
Accepted the report of the Judicial Commission and removed with censure the ordination of John H. Hopkins effective May 19, 2012.
Introduced Michael Evans, elder at Arsenal Hill, as Moderator and Barry Dagenhart as Vice Moderator/Moderator- elect. Their terms begin July 1, 2012.
Expressed appreciation to Billy O. Fleming as he completes his term as moderator.
