The ladies of Hopewell ARP Church, Blackstock, SC, honored Marie W. McDaniel with a drop-in on her 90th birthday on Jan. 7, 2012. More than 100 family members and friends attended. A highlight of the day was a display of pictures depicting her life over the years.
Mrs. McDaniel has been an active member at the Hopewell Church since 1941. She has served as church treasurer for over 33 years and has held various offices in Women’s Ministries. She still enjoys living by the side of the road and being a friend to man.
